Here's hoping. I dropped of the unit yesterday. Must say... the thing weighs a ton.

If the parts are not in stock it will be about a week from NC plus scheduled time for install
and 700 hours service.

Dealer is coming by tomorrow to reinstall part. Part is covered under warranty... labour is not. He will also do a 700 hour service.

The work list around the farm is growing... now if the weather cooperates things will get done!

In anticipation of the service, my kids and I did a much needed wash and clean of the cab interior and exterior. I will complete tomorrow in the AM. One thing I noticed is that the rear rims are fading faster than the front ones. Also the cab roof is fading fast too. Is there a wax or sealer that will bring back the colour?

do you keep the tractor under cover when not in use?? the sun plays havoc with the fiberglass roof.

Ive never seen anything thats brings back the color. Ive tried all the gimmicks out there thatsay they will...they don't. i HAD A BLACK BRONCO AND TRIED A BLACK WAX/POLISH. IT KIND OF WORKED...BUT FADED PRETTY SOON AFTERWARDS.

Cab roof is gel coated fiberglass. You should use a product like 3M Finesse-It and a buffer. That should take off the layer of oxidation. You really need to keep it waxed if it is outdoors since the gel coat, once it starts to break down from UV rays, temp swings and dirt, pollution, acid rain etc will just keep accelerating towards failure. Go to the boat store and get some Woody Wax which has UV inhibitors. Ultimately the thing can be painted with a good two part epoxy or polyurethane if the gel coat is really too far gone to restore.

Forgot to include this section of picture 4 as area with flaw.

Interesting pic.... and if you blow the picture up you can see another "suspect" area approx. 4 teeth over to the left... It appears to ahve been caused by impact as evidenced by the metal forced up and inward toward the tooth. The fracture itself has beach marks across the failure working away from the source, the impact damage.... Something harder than the gear material has impacted the edge of the gear, either during assembly, or possibly a piece of a destroyed bearing?????
Really good pics.... wish I could get our people to take this good of pics when they ask for a failure report...
Glad to hear they are going to give you some help on the repair...

Yes. It is repaired. Last Thursday we did a 700(+) plus service and put the Hub(?) assembly back in place - took about ten minutes. The dealer has never experienced this before although they do know of another kioti from another dealer that has. No explanation for it. The parts are covered under warranty ... the labour is not. Haven't received the invoice yet.

I am kinda tender with it now and am noticing more things... maybe paranoid or over sensitive. But there appears to be not a lot of clearance between the rim and the top of the hub assembly - on both sides. The mechanic said to run it without concern...

There's still another 16 months left on the drivetrain warranty. The warranty was one of the deciding factors to purchase.

Fingers crossed.

PS: I tried tilling the garden area tonight. Very wet and mucky. Gave up to prevent getting stuck. We have had 3 weeks of rain. Today was the only sunny break and forecast calls for another 6 days of rain...anyone have blueprints or CAD files for an ark!

Well I am a bit over 700 hours on my CK25,no serious issues as of yet, however dropped a log on the engine bonnet now I have a big dent:mad:. I completed the 700 hour service myself, however will have the dealer do the 1000 hr service, which should be later this summer or early fall.
My poor little beast gets used and maybe abused a bit, however dollar for dollar its one of the best machines that I have,or have had, My plans are to run it for another year and than trade for a DK,by that time I will be retired for the 3rd time:laughing:and just use on my property as a play toy.

Glad Mike took care of you Lloyd, he is the salt of the world as his entire family..you are in good hands.....Nope I am not related:laughing:

Good to hear. He has lost the Kioti line sort of. Vanoostrum has picked it up and Mike is selling under them and doing servicing. He will be stocking a few at his location. I chatted to Mike a bit about it. It seems Kioti wanted a bigger dealer... go figure.
