Thanks to all you guys for the feedback and advice.

Salesman called this afternoon (Saturday) and told me that everything has been fixed. He is gong to have the service manager call me on Monday to tell me what was done. Apparently a grinder was involved. Loader now is suppose to attache normally.

Thanks for the feedback on tire pressure and operation of the deck height adjustment. I think that those are reasonable explanations that I will be exploring on Monday's call.

At least this is giving me more time to sell my JD655 which the Kubota is replacing.

I've had my BX2200 since august of 2001. It now has 1630 Hrs. It is running strong and starts very well. Knock on wood. I don't read anything here that sounds real bad with the machine.
I did have some issues, when the tractor was new, but really glad I still have the machine. Could sell it in front of the house in probably 4 hours. I have gotten 3 unsolicited offers over the years. NOT FOR SALE! for cold weather starts I put a halogen work light in front of the tractor for about 20 minutes and it helps warm up the engine block, then a good 45 second glow plug and it fires up.

About the loader alignment. Place a level on the roll bar or across the fenders when seat is up and then put it on the loader arms (loader off ground). If the readings are close you don't have a problem. Keep your hydraulic connections clean as possible. Any grit build up will make connecting hard to do.

As to pin line up. You will get better at it over time, sometimes you just have to back off and start again. I have been slowed down trying to line things up, but overall it works very well.

Thanks for the input DB Pilot.

Service Manager called today to tell me everything is corrected except the cruise control parts have not yet arrived.

He admitted that there was a disconnect in his department and the pre-delivery was not performed. Mower deck height control was not attached from the factory Hydraulic fitting was loose. Also from factory. Loader was installed by the service staff. but they never tried to take it off once aligned, it now removes and installs easily.

Note that I purchased the tractor on December 29th and it was assembled and stored until last week. Disconnect was that pre delivery was planned for when it was assembled. Wasn't done then and then was missed when I asked for delivery.

Service Manager tells me he personally went over and under the tractor and checked fittings and adjustments throughout. He made a point of telling me that he checked the loader side to side for level and it is now level.

So, I am reasonably satisfied with their response and that they call me with updates instead of my having to call.

Will report again when I see the tractor. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We'll know if it is all together Friday afternoon. Cruise control was installed yesterday. Could have had it today or tomorrow, but I didn't want it transported in the sand and salt between PA and CT. Besides, I didn't want to be checking it out in 25 degrees and 40 mph winds predicted. Will be above freezing Friday.

Pictures will be taken and I will make an attempt to upload them this weekend.

Tractor arrived to day and it looks as if everything has been corrected. Loader comes off and on easily now. Mower height adjustment works. No leaks apparent. Even corrected a small wrinkle in the deck matt that didn't bother me. They ran the tractor about an hour since I last saw it. I'm satisfied that the dealer did all the right things and I now have a good tractor.
And it fits in the shed!
Now I'm reading the books and trying to visualize how to get the mower adjusted and making a materials list for the periodic maintenance.

I think pictures should be attached if I did it correctly.

Congrats. You are going to love that tractor. I have done more with mine in the 8 months I've owned it than I did with my Cub in the 18yrs I owned it. So much to do and so little time to do it. Have fun.

Looks real nice. Glad it all worked out for you. I see your in Orange CT. I'm down there a fair bit to see a doctor and my inlaws live there. I also go to Knights power equipment for parts for my old Wheel Horse. Guess you couldn't get a competitive price from F&W? I've stopped there a few times to look at what's on the lot. They tend to have a good bit of construction machinery - Kubota track loaders, excavators, and TLBs. I did buy a used snow plow for my BX from PA but bought my BX locally from Kahn's in North Franklin. Again, good luck with your new SCUT. Nice day today to put some hours on it.
