Heres my tempory fix to get it going to get our work done this week. I plumbed in a 1/4 inch tube to a home made "puke bottle"; got the parts from Lowes Sunday evening, and just finished it.

heres the part that I have the most trouble from..leaking. Theres a "piston" inside behind that big spring . it has a white plastic O-Ring, which usually goes bad every 50 to 100 hours. We can usually replace it and be good to go; but not this time. Black rubber o-rings don't even last a few hours.

In th epic u can see the bolt breather on top of the assmbly, this is where fluid seeps out when the o-ring leaks.

You are the only user reporting problems with this particular part. It seems to me there must be a defect that is destroying the o-rings in such a short time--perhaps a surface imperfection or some other out of spec conditon.

Have you considered getting a replacement unit--so that you can keep the tractor in service--or sending the part to Tazwell for inspection and overhaul as necessary?

Yes getting ready to send the part back for an overhaul, as soon as possible. Terry said something about modifying one that uses 2 o-rings.

The peiece to the rear (accumulator , I think) also leaks a lot. It really seems like the hydro system is running too hot and with too much pressure.

The gauge always shows around 1500 psi; which should be normal.

But somethings definately wrong.

What guage? Only guage I got stock is on the brake system. Trying to maybe build something to test all the systems as my tractor is a big leaker...

Yes, thats the gauge I'm talking about.
So far the "puke bottle" seems to be working.
