Alternative to EA 55 Inch Wicked Root Rake Grapple ?

Don't know about the less quality but certainly a lower price. Some of us don't need to rip tanks apart or have the capacity on a loader.

I just bought a 48" Titan. It's made in the USA and was shipped to my door for ~$1400 and tax. They're in Tennessee and didn't charge extra to get it to Texas like EA wanted. They also sell them on Amazon for about $200 more. (Amazon's piece of the pie) It weighs in at about 450 pounds.

Forgot to mention:
I got my pallet frame and forks there too. Everything came on the same truck. And I didn't have to wait 12 weeks for EA to build it.

The Titan Extreme 60" root grapple is 815 lbs at $2200.
The Everthing Attachment Xtreme 60" root grapple is $3112 at 420 lbs.

While price of the Titan is attractive the extra 400 lbs means that amount less I can lift with my tractor.

Holy Cow! They say this inflation is temporary. So will the price drop in the future? Do not beleive everything you hear.

I did not read all the pages. I have owned a grapple for 10 years. Mine is a bit heavier than today's lightweight steel. But I heartily recommend staying as small in width as possible. Mine is 48" wide and I think that is perfect. I wish for a slightly shorter "floor" on my grapple but I am fairly happy with it. It's on my tractor 90% of the time as it is so useful.

Buy a single cylinder single lid compact grapple for a compact tractor. I just saw a fairly nice one at an attractive price at TAR RIVER site. I dont remember all the details. Google is your friend.

Ordered my 60" EA Xtreme Tractor Root Rake Grapple 60 Inch for $2689.00 on 3/2/21.

I received my grapple on 5/28/21. Well worth the wait.

I see the price for the 60" Xtreme grapple is now $3112.00

How you liking your Xtreme Root Rake. I have the same hp and size tractor as you do and really like the look of that grapple. Everyone keeps saying get the 60" Wicked instead because of the AR450 steel (as opposed to the A572 steel of the Xtreme). Even the rep on the phone at EA suggested the Wicked over the Xtreme. Are the tines holding up or is the weight and hp of your tractor bending them? Would really appreciate your feedback. I like the look and functionality of the slightly longer lower tines.

I've used the grapple moving big brush piles and picking up heavy limbs. The only incident I had was one of the locking levers coming loose and the grapple dangling on that side.

I just have to watch the potential of the locking lever being moved by a branch.

My locking levers are (after market) hydraulically actuated.
Can't be moved manually or by branches.

Good choice ,
I have the EA 50” with the removable tines on the bottom , makes it 254 lbs , with tines installed 274 lbs can’t see any way I will ever damage it at 26 hp and don’t see how much more hp would ever damage it either it’s built like a tank , it will get a lot of work done for you , have fun

to be fair, EA is about the same distance east of Tennessee as the edge of their free shipping is to you... Glad you found another option

I was right on the edge of their free shipping but only had to travel 30 miles to pick up the grapple.
