Am I weird... (probably) peanut butter

The smell don't bother me. I love peanut butter. As a child I would eat it straight out of the jar. Thus the start of my weight issues. I still eat it in moderate amounts now. It is so good with so many things.

I love peanut butter, especially on celery sticks.

Recently I notice I detest the odor of the peanut butter as I clean the utensil.

Anyone else ever notice that?

We have found that Dawn dishwashing liquid + peanut butter will ruin a dishrag or sponge. You will never, and I mean NEVER, get that smell out of the dishrag. We went with the clear liquid from Costco and haven't had any more problems with the nasty odor.

Try a mayo and banana sandwich. That will ruin the bread as well. My mother used to like them.

PBJ Sandwich tip:

If you put peanut butter on both slices of bread, then put jelly on one and close it, the peanut butter will keep the jelly from soaking through one of the pieces.



Peanut Butter French Toast:

Make a peanut butter sandwich with two slices of bread. Dip it in egg like you would french toast, and cook it like french toast. Serve like french toast with some butter and syrup, maybe some powdered sugar and strawberries, too. Just make one and try it sometime! :licking:

I was looking for a snack about a hour ago..went to the pantry and saw a new bag of Orios...I love Orios but don't usually eat sweets.. well I was all settled in with my bag of cookies and big ice cold glass of milk..grabbed a orio and took a bite.... it was a peanut butter orio... I almost spit it out... they are disgusting.... particularly when you are expecting something else and not ready for peanut butter.
The remainder of the bag is now in the trash...

When i was at dads last weekend, i found 8 jars of peanut butter in 1 cabinet alone. Im sure he had more. He buys stuff when there are good sales, but he doesnt need it. Don't know how many stale boxes of cerial he has..
