Now lets talk Walmart. :shocked::confused3::laughing::laughing::laughing:
We ordered a couch, yes a couch,

from Walmart and had it delivered to the store so we could pick it up. Surprisingly, FedEx transports the couch to WallyWorld so we can watch the couch travel across the US. Couch arrived in Wally Land but the Wallmartians have no record of the couch.

How do you misplace a couch? Did the couch walk out the door by itself?
We reorder and get our money back from the couch that disappeared. The second couch should be delivered to day. It will be interesting to see if this couch disappears. We and friends have had problems with orders disappearing from this Walmart. It is hard to believe that they have these kind of problems.
...
Wednesday the reordered couch showed up at Walmart...
I will just not talk about having enough registers open and having to use the very badly programmed self check out. I despise those things. If a company wants me to be their employee, they should pay me.

What is next, pull what we want off the trucks and stock it on the shelves before we can buy the item?
After wasting 15 minutes or so waiting in the wrong line, Customer Service is not where you pick up orders.

This is a super Walmart with two entrances. If I had gone in the other entrance, I would have seen the pickup place but you would think they would have a sign pointing people to go to the right place...
So I finally get in the right line and there is a dummy in front of me trying to get her order. The TWO employees were telling the lady that they could not find the items she had ordered but which had been delivered. It took TWO employees to talk to the dummy. Now why am I calling the woman a dummy? I stood there for a good 15 minutes while this dumb a... looked at and tried to convince the employees to go find her unfound items. They had already told her multiple times that she had three choices, come back tomorrow to see if the items showed up, get her money back at the store, or get her money back on line. It took this dummy 15 minutes to figure out she wanted her money back in cash.

I don't know how long this cluster was going on before I walked up but I would not be surprised if this had been going on for 30 minutes or more.
When it was finally my turn, one of the employees knew where our couch was in back. Course he all but rolled his eyes about the effort it was going to take to walk to the back of the store, and oh my gosh, use a pallet fork to bring the box to the front of the store. I did notice he managed to find a younger guy in his 20's to move the couch.

The first employee might have been 30.
There was sooo much wrong with this little visit.
- It was obvious the TWO employees did not give a rats behind.
- We all know the items were delivered but some employee had either not processed them correctly and/or just stole them. Furthermore the two employees could not be bothered to take a walk to look again.
- They had already lost our first sofa which came in a pretty big box. How do you loose something that big?
- They could not use the cash register correctly and locked it up so a manager had to come fix it.
Which of course burned more time.
We have heard numerous stories about people ordering things for delivery to that store that then disappeared.
The common thread in all of these posts, be they about FedEx, USPS, UPS or Walmart, is the employees. They make or break an organization.
The other dummy waiting in line was me. That is the first and last time we will order and have it delivered to Walmart. We did this since we figured it would save us time and be easier to get the couch. Well, that was a mistake. Lesson learned.
Oh, what about the couch? It had to be put together but it was pretty easy to do. The instructions were slightly long but not a big deal. The other surprise is the couch is really comfortable! :confused3::shocked:

:laughing::laughing: We thought that the couch had a pull out bed but it really is more like a futon. But it looks just alike a couch, is comfortable and does what we need.
