That's strange. Sometimes I see the John Deere ad, sometimes I see the Massey ad, most of the time I don't see any ad but never see a Kubota ad. See the attachment.

Try downloading "ad-aware" its free , it will remove alot of the problems and a pop up blocker is nice also . That should take care of most of your problems . Perhaps some of the fine folks here on TBN might have an even better idea for you .

Hmmmm, I wondering if that is a phishing ad, not really from Amex at all? The "Click Here" bit is suspicious. I would hate to owe them an apology after suffering with them as my bank when I was overseas in the military. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

This is the only web site I get the add on. This just happen today, interesting.

Looks like it's displaying in error. I'll submit a request to the company that is serving that campaign. It isn't suppose to be showing.

As for popups, I haven't had a popup in so long that couldn't even tell you when the last one was. I don't have adware problems either. These are only two of the reasons that I use Mozillas SeaMonkey.

That ad was popping-up for me too. I ran spybot and destroy.

It picked up something 'Alexa' related. Spybot fixed the problem. The ad has ceased in the Kubota forum....for now. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sounds like you have confirmed it was adware, Don. Everybody who was getting it really should run adaware or spybot.

No it wasn't adware. It was caused by a bit of stray code supplied by the online ad placement agency for John Deere. We have notified them of the issue, and expect it will be resolved soon.
