No subject change here. So how many Millions of acres of farmland is there in the U.S.?

And what impact would hundreds of acres have on that productivity?

More than it would if it didn't happen. Some is better than none

I absolutely agree. But don't tout this as a big gain of AG land. Now if the cities involved would obtain the land and allow residents to have small gardens, then yeah, it matters. But if left to grow up in weeds because of municipal restrictions, then no, no it doesn't matter.

Ah, the agrarian myth. Everyone wants to live on a farm until they are awakened by the cock's crow and have to smell manure.

Projecting again. Only you did that. Nobody is touting any “big gains”.
You laughed at the assertion that hundreds of acres were going from city back to farmland.
When proved it was true, instead of admitting you were wrong, you changed the subject that it made no difference.
Its like when I said my JCB would go 40 and you called me a liar, then I showed you a picture of my JCB speedo doing 40+. You still haven't recovered from that and continue to do anything you can to diminish every post I make.

Regarding people in the office, exercise and stench.

Once Upon A Time, I worked in Tampa, Florida. During the summer time. Tampa is one of those cities that defines Hot and Humid. Just stepping outside and you would be drenched in sweat.

I worked with some Europeans. One guy was from Germany, who shall we say, was indifferent to bathing.🤬:D Our desks were facing each other but we had over heads so we could not actually see the other person...

At lunch time he would go play soccer, or as they call it, football. 😁

Did I mention this was in Tampa Florida? During the summer? That it was HOT and HUMID?

There was no shower for this guy to use.....

He would come back from lunch and sit in his desk. That was not a problem. Until the AC turned on and the stench drifted to my desk. 🤬

Seriously, but I should not have to tell a guy who was out running around for an hour, in the heat and humidity of Florida to take a shower. The other Europeans did not do this, only this guy from Germany. Having said that, back at our office in South Florida we had a guy from Belgium who did not seem to bathe much either. Sometimes he would put his arms behind his head which would act like a fan to blow his "smell" into the office. Nice guy though. He was Flemish so we called him Frenchy.🤬

Later,
Dan

And especially in cities where there are food deserts. Many city blocks where produce is unavailable. These inner city farms could become very significant in the future to them.

Heheheheheh. Like arguing with a child.....

You claimed city land was being reclaimed as farmland as if it mattered.

Doesn't matter whether that claim was true or not.

I asked for a comparison to actual farmland to quantify the effect.

I never called you a liar concerning your JCB. You posted a pic of it doing 31 or something like that and claimed it would go 40. I simply asked for proof.

I have a life. :ROFLMAO:
