An observation re: my Cub Cadet 7274

I don't know why cub hasn"t notified the owners of the 723X and 727X owners of the potential for these bolts to work loose. The bad part is, if they break loose and you have to repair the motor it is your fault totally. I don't think the other manufacturers are having these problems of this magnitude or at least I hope not. Come on cub notify the owners, because I am sure a lot of owners do not know of this potential problem. Just my opinion. The old Gunny

Cub does not notify the customers. Cub notifies the dealers.

Mostly, because the units were manufactured between 1994 and 1996. Most are second owners. Original owners hardly ever registered. So Cub addressed the situation to the dealers.

If customers are having issues they need to be addressed by the dealer to Cub Cadet.
