You two have my complete sympathy...

I usually manage to get thru a cold/flu season with not much more than a case of the sniffles, even considering I might treat several hundred patients during that time...this bug going around is a sneaky *******...I felt like I'd had a beating...

Go make some soup and spoil each other for a few days...
