Grapple Anbo Grapple anybody know about these?

That is a massive hog. How much did it weigh? Those beasts can be mean. What model Grapple do you have? Mine is a 66" but does not look as heavy built as the unit you have. I used it a little yesterday and it can grab huge load. Again Nice hog.

If you look close you may see I have a shock collar on him, If he gets out of line I will hold up the transmitter wave it around and that usually gets his attention. I was going to get a Back Hoe but the last ime I had one here all he wanted to do was dig up ground hogs. I figured he would be more productive without one. He is a 150# dog in a 15# dogs body.

Ive had a 9'6" Anbo Grapple for 2 years now, and they are certainly beasts...I use it on a 92HP Kubota, and I can work up a 10' Chinese Tallow tree in a few minutes. There is a high risk of toppling over with them if you dont have on some rear weight...I usually pick up a 2000lb hay bale on the back before I go to pick up big loads.

They are beasts, and I have not been able to break mine yet, and I put it through the works.

Also use it to pound fence posts into softer ground. Its super heavy so it works out great.

I always keep the backhoe on my 'Bota L-39 as a counterweight for the Grapple and still you have got to watch it.

I forget off hand which model my AnBo is but I know I ordered it heavy duty and it certainly is! It weighs about 850 pounds and is a wonderful reliable assest to the TLB and our property maintenance.

That hog was about 425 pounds, but I've gotten even larger ones with it!

Note that on the photo above, I welded 1/2" rods between the tines on the lower rippers to keep them from getting bent out of shape from too much force.

SkyPup, I see a pretty good bend in one of the top tines. Did this come from pushing on something or while clamping down?
I've been pushing over trees with my FEL bucket, but the cutting edge is getting a bit curvy. Is there a less damaging technique for tree removal using a grapple rake? My trees are mostly shallow-rooted old-field spruces, most in the 6 in range or less with a few up to about 10 in dia. I'm using a 45 hp Kioti with a 72 in bucket; would probably get a 48 in grapple rake.
From your experience, would the grapple rake be a good tool for my use?

Is that an AR-15? Is it a chambered in 223? I like the pics don't you find that the grapple eats up too much fel cap?

The top tine got bent while biting down on a rock. I have moved some very large rocks in addition to numerous large tree trunks and such.

The grapple is 25X better than a FEL blade for ripping out tree trunks and root balls, there really is no comparison.

You do NOT need a grapple as large as your bucket, a 48" grapple would be plenty for 95% of the applications I use my 66" on, plus it would weigh less too.

That is a SIG 556 in 5.56mm with a Burris 1-4X Extreme Tactical reticle scope.

My L-39 has a heavy duty FEL to begin with so the AnBo is not an overload on the FEL hydraulics, but a less tractor with less FEL hydraulics would be a strain with this heavy of a grapple.
