The top tine got bent while biting down on a rock. I have moved some very large rocks in addition to numerous large tree trunks and such.
The grapple is 25X better than a FEL blade for ripping out tree trunks and root balls, there really is no comparison.
You do NOT need a grapple as large as your bucket, a 48" grapple would be plenty for 95% of the applications I use my 66" on, plus it would weigh less too.

I don't think anyone doubts the Anbos are extremely well built but your experience with the rock shows one of the downsides of using high tensile steel (which is basically why the Anbo cost so much). I'll second your comments about how most CUT owners would be better off with a lighter duty narrower and most importantly less heavy grapple. A 48 inch mild steel 3/8 inch matches up pretty well with any CUT under 50hp or 3000lbs loader lift capacity IMO. The big Anbos are really designed for skidsteer use.
