That stump jumper I linked to is a 2", 15 spline hole. If you try to put one on your worn shaft you will probably need to add an extra flat washer to get the nut on good threads. You might be able to clean up the splines and get by but it looks pretty worn on the shaft and threads.

That worries me as well. Hence, I'm going to have a couple other people look at it first hand and get their opinions before I start writing checks.

Looking at your pics again and comparing to the photo of the new stump jumper it looks like the splines in the bar are just at the end and not all the way through the bore. If that is the case and your shaft hole doesn't have the splines worn out through the hole you might can clean it up and get by with a washer to put the nut on better threads?

Before buying a aftermarket pan, make sure the offset is the same and blade hole to hole measurements are the same. If not you could run into clearance issues.

English, please.

Hes saying it will cost you $1.50 in parts.

For a $500 brush hog i would be welding all that crap together too. There are many forsale around here.

I planned to take all the measurements of the current pan today but got directed elsewhere. I also didn't take those pics like I promised above. :(

Option #4 is still on the table and looking pretty good if I do say so myself. It can't be any worse and will probably work a whole lot better than it did the last five years.

Thanks,
