Andersen Slider - Cladding Peeling Off

My experience: They sent out replacements, gave me time to paint the insides, then sent out an installer to make the exchange. Worked for me.

I had the same thing happen to the 2 east facing Anderson 400 sliders. Based on the date code, they were 1 year past warranty and Anderson offered to sell me new doors/panels for 1/2 of list price. This is a known issue with these doors from that period. My new doors are Integrity from Marvin. We are only planning on being here for about 5 more years. If this was our final home, I would have sprung for the Marvins.

Don't hear much about Marvins here but I sure do like them... speaking only from personal experience with product purchased from 1990 through 2010
