If he spent all his time trying for perfection, it would slow him down too much and he would get nothing done.

Give and take...

I've got a friend like that. I hire him for all kinds of things, but never for finish work.

(Gotta another friend for finish work).

Watched another of his shows on YouTube last night. Three different excavators to move a derelict truck. The rear tandem axle was locked, but they never thought that maybe removing the axle shaft might let it roll....not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

If the brakes are rusted solid to the drums, it wouldn't make a difference anyways.

Yeah, the things we don't get ourselves into for our friends, eh?
That's all he was doing.
Helping out a friend.

Andrew's friend is a tech (hence the 22-ton air jack and other fun, jack stuff that showed up). Anyway, the drums appeared to be frozen. The second axle didn't have wheels so they freed up the Drums on the first axle and they used two minis to move that old fuel truck though it did appear that Andrew crashed the rearend of the truck trying to push it.

Thinking you might have missed the point of the exercise.

To whit: Was it to move a truck. Or use three excavators?

I know what I'd be all about - if I had three excavators!!! :)

I think the big one belonged to someone else.

They weren’t making much progress with the two small excavators.

Some of the posts are a bit harsh on Andrew. While there are cringe-worthy moments, I enjoy observing his resourcefulness and make a lot of notes on how he overcomes problems.

Boy, talk about missing the point. :(
