Two Kubota Dealers within 50 miles. One parts man said to change the Transmission Oil filter at 50 hours, but not really neccessary to change the Transmission fluid until 100 hours. Parts man at the other place tells me to change both at 50 hours per recommendation. My tractor is a L3130 HST. Would appreciate comments on what you did. Thanks.

The second guy is "going by the book". Apparently a lot of people don't change it at 50 hours and you may have no problem, but I didn't feel it was worth the chance. I changed mine at 50 hours.

Appreciate it Bird. Did a search of TBN, (Which I should have done first- /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif). Plan to change everything per Kubota recommendations.

I also went by the book on 50 hr service. I felt like if I go by the book and anything ever goes wrong I'll have stronger legs to stand on. And the dealer could not say "you should have doen this according to the book".
My L3130 has 110 hrs now and I will be doing the 100 hr service myself this weekend.
