Another Battery!

I would caution there is only about 3 major automobile starter battery manufacturers in North America and every one of them will build a battery up to or down to what ever cost a brand is willing to pay. They will all build junk for cheap is that is all the brand is willing to buy.

For many brands they build 3 tiers of battery and are bold faced about it. Good, Better, Best. Not sure the "Best" is always the best.

will work for a while,
may work for a bit,
should work till you leave the parking lot.

He’s absolutely correct in saying a manufacturer can make different models of same product. I found this out buying a skill saw model 77. The consumer version available at home depot had plastic gearing, the commercial version available at wholesale house had steel gears. Same model number. I have been told during tool show at electrical wholesale house that dewalt and Milwaukee do the exact same thing.

Now Generac manufactures generators for Centurian (lowes), Honeywell (costco), Eaton, and others. They come off assembly line the exact same. All interchangeable parts, just different colors and brand labels.

IIRC Dewalt labels the box store models as "Atomic".
