What kind of reach do you have?

It's been a couple of years, but you could stand that boom all the way out, I'm thinking there is 15-20ft there, maybe a little more.

With all of that weight we broke a few rims until we made our own.

so it can be operated in either direction.

Correct, they ran it "backwards" just to have a better view and get closer.

The tractors where open stations and I do not think they had a canopy. My tractor does not have a canopy but I ain't running it 8-10 hours a day all week long in the hot sun.

The state here ran open canopies. We had full cabs with A/C. I'm not a big fan of all the extra crap and glamor, but I don't know how anyone does a first cutting without a cab and filters.

Between the pollen and dust during first cutting, you were blowing out cab filters daily, the grill multiple times daily, and sometimes air filters. I couldn't imagine open cab. I did run the side window open most of the time though so I could hear what the mower was doing.

This just makes me miss being out on the roads all day with no one around. I hate office life.
