All looks a-ok to me, Bird... keep it up! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Really, I don't mind seeing the off-topic posts... a lot of them are related. Just builds the community we have here more and more... even the stuff that is completely off-topic is ok... when topics drift, that's ok as well... in a lot of cases some good comes out of what gets posted.

Obviously, it is still a tractor forum and that's the topic... and most of what is posted is tractor stuff, of course. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

So, no problems...

I have to laugh Bob /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif There are several people at work I'd like to mention this site to but I'm afraid they'll see my posts, and the time of day I post most of them /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Now that I have a good PC at home (where I am now) maybe I'll turn some of them on to it.

And Bird, I can always tell your posts without even seeing your name. You're the only one out there talking about cutting grass and putting in gardens while I'm still wondering what color the grass is under all the snow. I'll be expecting lots of gardening tips come May since you'll be on your second and third crop by then.

All, glad to know I'm not the only one having trouble keeping up. Thanks for the support /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

You want to know what's kind of funny? The guy who works for me won't let me know what name he registered under for TBN. That's really kind of a hoot. One of the other folks in our department said he's worried that I'd check the times on any messages he might post here and get mad at him . That's what's such a hoot. I keep TBN "minimized" on my system and just pop the window and check a few things now and again during the day. I hope the word got passed back to him that it's pretty hard for the pot to call the kettle black!!

That is a hoot. I tend to do the same, keep it on screen and check several times throughout the day. I took the leap of faith this morning and directed a co-worker to the Insulated Concrete Form thread as he is considering that approach with his new house. I think I only had one post there so maybe he won't catch me /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

It should be a fun game for you to try to figure out who your co-worker is on the forum. Who knows, maybe it's me/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I'm pretty lucky at work because I have an office where I don't need to worry too much about people seeing my TBN use. Where I live, I'm at the END of the phone company wire. The next farm over is in Virginia and on a different phone company. So my internet access speed from home is v-e-r-y s-l-o-w...
I have a new job offer - big raise in pay but one of my thoughts in deciding is "I wonder if I'll be able to get to TBN during the day."

The really funny part is --- I don't really care about it, as long as stuff gets done. In these big corporations there is still some "fear" left over from previous management styles that used intimidation as motivation.

What I really hope is I can figure out his TBN id and then just send him a private message. I guess my idea of fun is kind of warped at times.

Actually, I'm going with him to look at a used L2300 (?) tomorrow afternoon. Sounds like a pretty good deal, lots of hours, supposed to be in real nice condition, but we'll have to see.
