Anyone have a filter number listing for LS R4047?

thanks John

Check out "Sticky Needed."

If the S4QL engine uses the same filters as the S4QS, the oil filter should be the same. With all the 4047s showing up here, someone should be able to say.

I just spent $40 on the hydraulic filter... can't say I've ever bought one before but it seems rather high to me...

Congrats on your new tractor. I just got my R4047H recently as well. Here's a pic with my flail on it. I've been really happy with the power it has, and can't wait to really work it out.

Do you guys know if there were any changes to the U5020 between 2011 and 2012? I ordered a 5020 and found out yesterday it is a 2011 not a 2012 mobel but I don't know that there were any changes to them. My dealer said he is checking on that for me.

Don't forget that the tractors come over here on a slow boat. I don't think that a 2012 tractor would even be on our shore's by now. The stamping on the tractor happens when they are born not when they are sold.

Tractors, unlike cars, don't have model years, changes are few and made on a running basis. It is not uncommon for a new tractor to have existed for a year, sometimes more, before retail. (Transit time, warehouse time then dealer lot time). Also happens to lawn mowers and other types of equipment. You will sometimes see some types of equipment stated as "new in 20xx" referring to the in service date rather than manufacturing date.

when looking at a tractor to find out if it's new check the hour meter. Obviously something with steel wheels a hand crank and no hours is not "new" :D

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that there may not be changes in tractors from year to year and a "2011" may not be built in "2011". My first question was appearantly poorly worded.

That being said, at some point when changes are made to tractors there is going to be a difference from year to year. My concern was if there was a change between the recent production model and the newest production models by way of the U5020/U5030 ( based on alot of talk about loader ability).

My dealer checked and there has not been according to him. It's not easy to figure this out by a website query, or even a dealer query per se as dealers don't always know changes unless they actually have that particular model on hand. Yes, in a perfect world a dealer would have the answer but I am glad mine doesn't just give me an answer if he truly doesn't know it.

I stopped by the Kubota dealership today looking for an implement they stock and even they didn't know if their newer models had a feature a customer was looking for at the time.

Gone are the simple days of 2 engine options per year and 1 color. THanks again for the input. Tractor is about 4 days away from hitting the dock here, but who's counting?

I sold my old tractor, literally the day before we started getting a record snow fall. We have so much snow that this is the first year EVER that the State is allowing feed stations for moose. My driveway has gone from a 1000 feet of manuverability to a 1000 foot luge. The truck with plow blade works but not like having a loader. Should have plenty to do when I get the tractor here.

I staged round bales for the cows so I just have to roll them through the gate, but I didn't plan for the snow. Murphy's law.

Send some our way, we are waaaayyy below normal, makes for a miserable winter. I'd rather have 3-4foot of snow on the ground when it's cold, then this darned ice.
