Another new LS owner

Hi all. I just bought an R4047 today and am anxiously waiting to play with it

Hey Sublifer,

Welcome to TBN and the LS forum. I agree with rocknrod, that is a nice intro. Sounds like you came upon the LS brand like the rest of us -- while looking for a good tractor at a fair price with a great warranty. As Gary (a LS P7010 owner) has noted in other threads, no tractor brand is going to get everything right all the time, but LS seems to have fewer issues than many of the others and has a good reputation for addressing warranty issues quickly.

Anyway, have fun with you new R4047 when you get it and post some pics when you get a chance.

Hi guys. Thx for the kind words. Mostly I'm really fortunate that the one guy mentioned "those cheap korean LS..." whatever he said as I don't drive that way anymore so I wouldn't have ever known they were there. I owe him for the discovery of LS and I owe all of you for most of the credit in helping me make a good decision. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can. I am going to be signing the last papers for it tomorrow morning then will guide the dealer's delivery driver (and tech) to where I want the tractor. Its pretty rural and I don't even have an address

Nope, didn't retire as a sub sailor. Thats one of the most common things i hear... I actually chose this name back in '98 when I started getting online in chatrooms and wanted a good handle. I ended up combining two things that I had in front of me, a subway sandwich and lifesavers. The name is pretty original so I kept it. I was actually in the Marines at the time.

I might camp up at my property for a few days while I play with the new toy but I'll be sure to come back with the pics.

Congrats on the new tractor Sub. I am waiting on one myself and its no fun. Seems like the LS line is really catching on. They seem like a well built machine with lots of value for the money.

Wow, another Happy LS owner seems things are really taking off... congrats!!! Sure would like to get a look at the new R4047 As you know from your reply to my past post, I ordered a 4010 back on March 1st only to find out that it wasn't in stock, so they bumped me up to the 4020 at a great price. That was almost a month ago. Looks like they are making a model change. Any way enjoy that new machine and post some pictures.

Congrats on your new tractor. I just got my R4047H recently as well. Here's a pic with my flail on it. I've been really happy with the power it has, and can't wait to really work it out.
