Folks:

I came to this forum to ask only 1 specific question, which I hope will be replied to shortly, but will probably hang around and read many posts. You cannot go wrong learning something, and should learn something new every day.

Allow me to assure you that I am older than the last boy, James, that joined, just touching 75, and hoping to be here for at least the next 15(?) years. :)

I live down in south Alabama where the grass is now green and the flowers have started to bloom....thankfully, after a hard, cold winter, but surely not as bad as many of you.

My best wishes to y'all,
Marty

Boys:

I posted my one question in the MTD forum, here:

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/mtd/200533-question-re-huskee-model-lt4200.html

Perhaps someone can come up with a solution for me as I am not mechanically savvy, being an old city boy that came to the backwoods of Alabama only 25 years ago, and learned to drive a lawn tractor only about 5 years ago.

I had an old JD STX30 that was just right for the yards that I had. It cut forwards & backwards, and I really need that backward option if possible.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Are you a Alabama or an Auburn fan?

Hello, and thanks for the warm welcome.

When I moved to Alabama, about 30 years ago, that was the first question folks asked me.....are you an Alabama or Auburn fan, not how are you or glad to have you down here.

So that taught me one thing, and with no offense meant. I remain neutral in matters of politics, religion and football, and that way I stay out of trouble.

The last sports team I was 'FANatical' about was the Brooklyn Dodgers, but that was before they moved to LA, and I don't mean Lower Alabama.:D
