I do loader and push snow as well a use rear blower. Loaded turfs + 300 lb weight do just fine with the loader.
Chains work real good on turfs for snow and ice surfaces come winter and the blower replaces the rear weight.
All in all I think I have a good combination for all around work, both winter and summer.
(Knock on wood) I have never been stuck nor do I mess up my lawn.
On grass I always use 2 WD as it is the 4 WD that chews up the grass when turning.
My biggest fear is punctures due to fact that turfs have less plies but so far no problems.
Looking at treads, turfs look more like snow tires than R4's which due to large flat knobs that look like 1/2 slicks.
Of coarse this discussion usually ends up like Ford vs GMC vs Dodge.
