This could become a very bad trend here. I went to the same auction at which I bought the old F-350 dually last week and found something else I thought I should have to play with for at least a few days. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'm now the proud owner of an old International DC-9 bulldozer. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I figure that while my Deere 4200 is down for repairs I needed something to use to move some dirt around my property. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

A lot of you married guys probably wouldn't be allowed out of the house next Thursday if you pulled this two consecutive Thursdays (or wouldn't be allowed in tonight). /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have to admit, though, that his trend and it's escalation even has me a bit concerned. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It's been a long hard struggle, but wifey now understands the value of tools. We can do projects ourselves for less money & exactly how we want them done.

We are finishing our walk up attic this winter. In addition to the carpentry, we want to do lots of built in cabinetry. The woodshop just got a major upgrade - jointer, planer, shaper, router, biscuit joiner, etc... It took almost no negotiation. She did blow a little steam when the credit card bill hit /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif (I got it all at once to minimize the duration of my stay in the doghouse). But less than 24 hours later, everything was A-OK. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

She's getting a little concerned that I'm spending more time in the shop than with her. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif She did come down to visit, but I didn't notice her /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif (I was cutting dadoes on the table saw, back to the door). I thought I saw her out of the corner of my eye, but when I finished the cut, she was gone.
