When I had the Land Management specialist put together a price for the 55hp tractor I had him price me the heavy duty 6ft, it was the RC2072 model for $2095.00. Cheaper than before this sale but sure you could find one even heavy duty for less.

Yeah maybe, I'll probably be checking with my cabelas salesman and seeing if I can get one. But I don't hold out much hope as they will still be under warranty...... Buy one. These are all good tractors. They weren't throw together for a fire sale. They were built just like any other Tym. And If you would buy a tym, why not a cabelas brand for much cheaper?

I've never considered a TYM before and hadn't planned on a CUT purchase for a couple years down the road. So basically right now I'm only considering a new Cabelas just based on price alone.

Just a few notes I learned from the Land Management Specialist is that the Cabelas warranty on the "inventory reduction" tractors has been lowered from 3yr 3000 hours to 2 years 2000 hours but drivetrain is remaining the same at 5 years. Not a real big issue being the warranty work probably won't be directly done by them in a year from now. The real kicker was I joking asked him if I could put it on my Cabelas credit card and get my 3% in points and he said YES! WOW! he even suggested I try to upgrade my card from silver status to black and get 5%. If that holds true that's a pretty good chunk of spending money at Cabelas. Pay of credit card off when the bill comes and it should be free money!

I got 2‰ back on their non credit card, club card. Just under $300 and I applied after the fact and called them up just to see if they would credit me. And they did..... Good customer service by a good company.

My Mahindra eMax 22 is built by TYM (as is the eMax 25) with a Daedong engine. No issues with it in nearly two years of ownership. I'm very pleased with it.

I called a cabela's today just out of curiousity. I really wasn't quoted anything that made me go wow. I'm getting as good of a deal if not better on my new MF 1726E with a dealer that has been in town forever as I would with the Cabela's TYM that is 300 miles away. Depending on where any actual service would need to be done I couldn't justify buying one.

I have never been one to receive a "deal". Not this time either. LOL. Congrats to those that do.

19,900 for the 35 horse shuttle with FEL

23,800 for the 45 horse shuttle with FEL

30,800 for the 55 horse with FEL, cab and hydro.

Last summer I could have gotten an L3801 Kubota for that kind of money as the 35 HP with the service that Kubota is well known for.

I haven't priced 45 HP tractors so I can't opine on that. But I could have gotten a Kubota 70-75 HP w/cab for 39k last summer as well before I settled on my 100 HP MF. So I'm not seeing the Cabella's S. MN site as being too overly desperate to sell out their stock yet and quite possibly they don't need to be.

Jibe717,

I would imagine that each store is going to have different motivation levels to sell . . and that could certainly effect pricing. In stock/in store would make a difference. MN has quite a number of Cabelas near to each other Owatonna, Rogers, and Woodbury all come to mind.

In addition, Massey is no slouch at competing . . especially if you are a repeat customer too.
