Hey Larry:
Thanks for the idea! But I am going to turn my axles down to 3/4" so future repairs would just require pressing in a new bushing. Any thoughts on why this wouldn't work. Dan

Dan the axle bolts on the BX decks are already smaller than 3/4" (.750) they are 16mm (.629) .004 larger than 5/8" (.625)

You caught my screwup! I'm turning mine down to 5/8 so future repairs can be made with a stock size bushing.
