2007 Kubota B3030
Just sitting at my computer eagerly waiting for my new B3030 to arrive! After much thought I finally decided to trade the BX2200 for a B3030 before the year ends.

Don't worry, I promise pictures will be posted before the day is over. It looks like I'll also need to change my signature. ;)

I suspect you got the cab version and will post pictures of you toasty and warm while blowing mountains of snow off into the woods while the rest of us freeze? Congratulations on your new addition. I lived in Hadley for about 10 years. Very nice area.

No, I didn't go for the cab version. I even considered for a brief time not buying the Kubota snowblower and getting by with the FEL on the 3030 and my Troy-Bilt walking snowblower. The past two storms that dumped over a foot of snow convinced me otherwise. I think I spent over 4 hours blowing snow this past storm between the driveway, walkways, deck, and clearing for Yorkie potty area.

We spend a lot of time in Hadley. With our two hockey players we're always at the UMASS rink and are either eating out or shopping in the Hadley area. I agree it's a great area to live.

Hey congrats !!! Looking for to the pics later today. I know i will eventually talk Whats-Her-Name into letting me buy a new cab 3030, but for now my used B2400 is doing a great job. May i ask where you made the purchase?

Tractor was purchased from Emerich's in Charleton, NY. They gave me a lower price on tractor but less on my trade than Ahearn in Spencer, MA but bottom line they were about $800 less and also included three hooks welded to FEL, loaded rear tires, and free delivery which was about a 2 hour trip.

Here it is coming down the driveway:

Inside the garage:

This is the last time the tractor will register less than 1 hour so I had to get a pic of that:

Can't wait now for the next dumping of snow to try out that snowblower

Your going to love the B3030. Its been a year now since I got my B7800 and boy what a machine. I never use my wheelbarrow around the property any more since the FEL is so convienent. I ended up getting a Woods back hoe, BH-70X and a Woods rear blade RB-72. Just some thoughts on how to spend your money.:) Get some pics posted of the snow blower in action!

In just the few hours I had to play with the tractor yesterday, I'm already impressed at how much better the implements install/remove on the 3030 vs. the BX2200. The quick hitch for the snowblower is much easier to install, the loader valve stays on the tractor and therefore changing from loader to snowblower is much easier, and even though the 72 inch mower deck is heavier than the 60 inch it is easier to move with the larger ground engaging wheels.

No, I didn't do that stone wall but I am planning on duplicating it myself on another area of my property.

Thanks for everyone's earlier input. It really helped me decide to go with the 3030. I was able to take advantage of the 0% financing and the $200 Quail Unlimited rebate which certainly helped the bottom line price.

Hey BXBOTA,

Do you remember how they lashed down the rear of that nice new 3030? Looks like they used the lift arms. Just curious for my own application.

Thanks BD

To be honest I don't think I saw how the rear part of tractor was hooked up. I was most likely gazing at the tractor when he was removing straps. It certainly looks like by the picture that the 3 point hitch arms were used.

i use a big clevis through the draw bar hole, think it cost like 30 bucks and it never comes off. i have a BH so thats one of my attaching points when i haul the thing. One of these days i will take some pics of my hooks i bolted on the front and the large clevis i use to tie the thing down with.
I spent the day hauling brush from the ice storm, got some older folks around me an i take care of their property also, tomorrow i will move down to the next neighbor and pull his brush out. My kids dont understand why we are doing it but i hope one day they will realize what its like to help someone and expect nothing in return.

I can't say enough good things about Emerich's and about my B3030. I purchased my BX23 from them and then traded my BX23 in on a B3030 this fall, fantastic all the way around. So far I have found my B3030 to be awesome. Maybe I can't remember that far back but it feels like it gets everywhere my BX23 did but with a little more power and a little more clearance and a little more capability, I wish I had started out with a 3030, maybe then I would have traded up to and L and felt the same way! But in the end one of the primary tasks for my B3030 is mowing the lawn and I think that this is about as big and expensive a riding lawn mower as I can try to justify.

Good luck with your new tractor. If you get a chance can you snap a couple photos of the blower? I have the front blade which I love but I could see a blower in my future.

You will love the new tractor, it is a great machine. I have 102 hours on mine and hope to put on hundreds more throughout the years. Enjoy it!

Seeing it is Christmas Eve morning I would like to say Merry Christmas to all the TBN'ers. Hope all of you and your families have a wonderful holiday season!
