Any B1750 HST owners left?

I just bought a B1750 and have used this forum hoping to get some answers to some of my problems. The thing is - no one is responding. Are there any B1750 owners using this forum?

Generally the older the machines the more active the forum, as more problems arise - but here it's the opposite.

From what I can see the B1750 was & is a fantastic machine and was miles ahead of most MF's, Ford's, JD etc. for its time. Have they all the B1750's being scraped?

That was my first tractor. Bought it used, put 600 hours on it and sold it for more than the original price paid. Great little workhorse. Unfortunately, it was far too light to handle the heavy jobs I found myself doing, especially harvesting firewood. While Clementine, my L3010 is able to drag home three maple trees at a time, the little B1750 had trouble handling even one.

Hope you're not having trouble with yours. I traded up before experiencing anything more troubling than a couple of flats.

I have a B2150 HST which is one step up from your B1750. It looks pretty much the same; just has a larger engine and tires.

All of the tractors in the B1550/B1750/B2150 series were available in both 2wd and 4wd; gear drive and HST; with and without the Bi-Speed turn option.

According to my sales brochure, the B1750 has 20 engine hp and either 16.5 PTO hp (gear drive) or 15.5 hp (HST).

I have not had any major problems with my tractor.

Minor Problems:
(1) I have problems with the sockets that holds that headlight bulbs; one bulb doesn't work at all and the other works about 1/2 of the time.

(2) I think that it can be difficult to find replacement tires, especially if you have turf tires.

You might give us more information about how your tractor is equipped (FEL? Mid mower? Tires? 4wd? HST?) and how many hours are on it. Some of this information will fit well in you profile!

Good Luck. If your tractor has been properly maintained then you probably won't have any problems.
