Was first exposed to boats when I was seven and grandfather sold ChrisCraft boats and been running them ever since. Thirty five foot the largest but right now boat less. Dream would be to run the ICW as have only done parts of it so far. Will just have to see maybe in the cards maybe not but to date have had fun. Favorite one so far twenty seven foot wooden Chris Craft cruiser. Go fast boat would have to be 252 Baja with 502 fun boat
I had an old Town cabin cruiser when I was 22 yrs. old and my bride and I had great fun on it...then we had a runabout...then an all aluminum cabin cruiser we had on Lake Michigan at the time....wish I still had it....We had a 36 ft. Drifter House Boat while our son grew up...we spent many weekends on the boat...then a 21 ft. ski boat...We were a boating family....now, I don't want to fool with the maintenance anymore...but I sure miss it just like I miss riding the Harleys....but there's a time for all things....time to hold and a time to fold...then a time to run away...LOL
I have 3 also. 24' pontoon w/120hp, 19' Fish 7 Ski w/85hp, and 15' bass boat w/48hp. Bass boat will be looking for a new home next Spring now that I have the Fish & Ski set up they way I want if for fishing. Pontoon stays at home until the grandkids come to visit or we have more than 3 going to lake. Sometimes take both pontoon and Fish & Ski and use the pontoon as floating sundeck and tubing with the boat.
I have a '57 Feathercraft Ranger II, and share Daddy's old fiberglass boat with my sister. But 99% of the time I use my canoe. I like the peace and quiet.
Here is my canoe on 10 Mile Creek just after I had done 8 1/2 hours on the Chipola River.
