The initial price he gave me was a few hundred off MSRP.

One thing I do I find odd about Can Am is that the red sxs is more than the same model in green. The red costs about $600 more.

It might be paint rather than color molded in the plastic. I think silver & boreal green are more $$$ too (DPS & XT models) Camo is also extra.

What I find odd is there is so little color at all. You have to buy an XT to get color matching box side panels.

Red goes faster ! That’s why fire truck’s are red !

I am not looking for "Faster", but I do like the bright red they use :cool2:

I was looking through a parts catalog yesterday and was surprise to see that the standard green fenders are $104, but the red ones are nearly $300! All the colors except green were up in the $300 range.

I agree with you. I like that red, just not enough to pay that much extra for it.

One of my wife's co-workers got laid off last week, and they RIF'd about 20 other people in her area this week. So we are going to hold off on any big purchases for awhile.

Of course my local Can-Am dealer is having a huge sale on 2019 models this weekend. Story of my life.....

Sorry to hear about the lay offs.

Is the sale an increase in rebates? I have been checking Can Am's promotions and have not seen any changes other than 9-30 end changed to 10-31.

When I talked to the sales guy ( owners son ) on the phone a few weeks ago, he thought you get even more off over the rebate this week on a 2019 model. Today the are having an open house, they have a picture on their Facebook page with all of the 2019 model Can-Am's sitting out. You aren't too far away, it might be worth a call into them.
