This joystick is only on the TC DELUXE Class III tractors (only, as far as I know). It has linkage attached but not cables. Attached is a pic of it without the rubber boot. You can see how it is bolted into the control valve at the bottom.

The CAT skid steers use the electronics over hydraulic joystick controls. This is what I have on my CAT 216 SSL. I have never seen a better control. It feels just like a computer joysick and soon the controls feel more like an extension of your hands.

I have never used an electronic over hydraulic valve that wasn’t proportional like the others were talking about. My CAT controls are totally variable.

I’m sure CAT would sell you all the parts for this system but it would be a major project and modification to adapt these valves, electronics, and joystick to a different tractor. I would suggest doing a search on the web for hydraulic joystick. I did this once upon a time and found several out there. Some were conventional and others were electronic over hydraulic.

Here is a pic of the century joy stick set up. as you can see it is very handy to use and also you can get on and off the tractor very easily. I don't know if you have to get both the joystick and valve or if you can adapt it to your valve. best way to find out is to talk to a dealer.

The valve on the TC looks like a regular 2 spool loader valve with a joystick lever. It's easy since they located the valve next to the operator instead of on the loader. You could use pilot pressure operated valves but now you're talking some serious money. Or you could relocate your loader valve closer to the operator location like where some people mount their Top'nTilt valve. Someone here did a great job of mounting a loader joystick valve on the ROPS so it was right by his side. Good luck or maybe just buy a New Holland. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Leaddog I like the step also. Looks like you can use it to clear the heavy mud off the bottom of work boots. They should all be that heavy looking & practical.
