All I need is a front grill assembly and some paint on the sheet metal :)

Mornin Steve,
No actually not too tough finding parts ! I have got some stuff off of YT Tractors in the classifieds. As far as gaskets, seals and bearings and such, you can still get these from the local Case IH dealer. Seems funny getting that stuff for my 42 A which is 63 years old :)

Girly alert on the calendars. I hope to get into a tractor restoration when I move out to my land. I restored an old jeep CJ5 in high school and really enjoyed the experience. I'll look for a nice easy one first. One rule, it must have a metal seat.

Scott,

It looks like a fun project. I did a Farmall Cub about 10 years ago and it went together quickly.
IMHO the old Farmalls had the smoothest running gas engines made. The were very quiet and ran like a sewing machine.
Keep posting photo up dates...looks great so far.

Thanks Gene,
Yep, I will post updates ! I love the little Cub also, if I had more room I would have one of those also :)

I need to save a few more bucks for a grill assembly, mine was pretty well shot.

Wow, thats really nice! Id be interested in some more infos...like what did it look like when you got it, was it completely disassembled etc. BTW did you do the paint yourself?

ETA; What are you going to do w/ it once its complete. Around here (at least up N) many of the restorations compete in the tractor pulls.

Longest project hunh? I know the feeling .....Well,
Scotty at least your getting closer every day or so... :) Looking very good by the way :D You can be proud of that one....

My old Massey is still sitting while I have been spending all my time doing my retaining wall project I spoke to you about in the PM we had a while back. I honestly don't think I'll ever have time to do it until I retire

Again looks Nice.!!
