Any experience with Titan Box Blades?.

I have the opportunity to purchase a titan HD box blade. I will be pulling this behind my Kubota M6060..
I do have some rock that I will run up against at times. J

I have a 6' Titan; looking at their website, I see only one "grade" of box blades. If they had an HD unit in the past it may be worth grabbing. Mine is fairly light weight, in terms of both weight and construction, compared to the ones that cost twice as much, so I keep my speed down. I've snagged it on a stump without damage, and pulled up some reasonably large rocks with it. I sometimes put a few sand tubes on top for tearing up dry soil.
I've used it quite a bit with no issues. I suspect high speed use in rough soil may cause things to bend, but if you use caution and you can get it cheaply, go for it.

Per their web site a 6' weighs 530#, 7' weighs 586#, and an 8' weighs 640#.

I previously owned a 5' Woods that tipped the scales at 540#. It had a hinged tailgate. My current blade is a Taylor Way 7' that weighs 640# with a fixed rear blade. The extra weight of the Woods was due to the tailgate.

I consider the Titan as medium duty along with my Taylor Way. A 5.5" Gannon is over 1000#. That's heavy duty.

You could easily run a 7' 1000lb. Box blade behind a M6060. The more weight the better it performs.

I couldn’t pass up the deal... Planning on adding some ballast to the top of it. Ill be working in hard dirt.
