The air version of the seat is $550 and the mechanical is $330. The mechanical seat that he quoted has a slightly shorter stroke than the air seat. There is another mechanical seat that has the same stroke. I'd assume that seat would land between the two for cost. Both are including head rest, seat belt, switch and a cloth cover. I want cloth so I don't slide around on the slopes.

My musing aside, that seat is the I3A. I found out about it and shared what I found out about it on post number 7 on the first page of this thread.

Anyway, I would have really liked to get my hands on one.

I wasn't really planning on sharing this end-of-December video as I'm looking to do a better review of the V5400 air seat once it warms up. Even so, gleen what you wish from what I did think to share in my cold December garage.

this company list the I3m as a quote with options I don't find the I3a on the site I wonder if they could order one?

I submitted a quote request. The Seat distributor I spoke to couldn't get their hands on the I3A, and the I3M is available without an adjustable backrest as the upgraded seat from Toro and Exmark.

The United Seats deal fell through. The seller tried to ship the seat though Ebay, but it was too large to qualify for the global shipping program. I then tried to get a UPS quote and they wanted $1,200 to ship the seat from the UK. In the end the seller even tried to find a distributor over here and they don't have one. Sucks because I think that seal would sell really well in the states. Last night I drove around to a couple of equipment dealers. Sat on a Exmark delux seat part number 166-4445 and found it to be super comfortable. Anybody know who's making the seat?

Has anyone looked at this add-on air suspension option for seats? If you find or have a good seat, you could add this air suspension. Made in USA. Lawn Mower Suspension Seat from ZTR Puffer

The Toro I3M is on Ebay for 450-470 with free ship. The seat that I sat on last night was comfortable enough without the adjustable lumber. However, I'd rather have it in cloth because the vinyl was so soft that the floor demo was already attracting dirt.

The primary difference from my stock seat and the Toro / Exmark Deluxe seat is that these seats have an adjustable back and adjustable lumber.

The same Milco and Grammer distributer in MN is listed as a distributer of Seats Inc. as well.

There appears to be a couple of versions of deluxe seats out there. I sat in the suspension version that you had on your mower and found it to be somewhat comfortable. The suspension felt rather still and didn't respond to my adjustments. I then sat in a different version and found it to be much more plush. Exmark Seat for Zero Turn Riding Mowers 2 Tone | eBay The plusher version has a more defined side bolster. It's this version that's also available from Toro as a deluxe suspension seat. Search for part number 121-7595 I'm pretty sure these are all different versions of the same seat as made by Seats Incorporated.

Seats Inc is just over in WI. If we could get a sample to try and review, perhaps we could get a group purchase. I'm comfortable with calling their rep to try and negotiate on a rainy day when I'm not doing anything.
