Any feedback on Milsco's V5400 Air Ride Seat?

The problem with the Toro Exmark, while plush, the back angle isn't adjustable. With my back problems, that knocked it out of contention, even though i liked the seat on the 5000 series Toro I demoed.

This ebay seat appears to just be a seat without a mechanical suspension. On the Toros, this is how the seat comes as they use rubber isolators to dampen the seat.

Yea, this is the one that I sat on last night. I found it to be quite supportive and better than the upgraded Exmark suspension seat you had on your machine. Although by the same manufacturer and the same model, they're not the same seat. I've got a bad l5-s1 so I know what you are complaining about. Thankfully I've been putting off the fusion so I still like lumbar support. I found the seat to be quite comfortable, had good lumbar support and the back angle was set correctly. That says a lot because my back is really finicky. I was pleasantly surprised because I was anticipating a seat that had adjustable angle and lumbar support. I felt the seat was good enough that earlier today I ordered the Toro 121-7595. $450 with shipping off Ebay.

I finally had a chance to try, like, and then perma-wire in the electrical for the Milsco V5400 seat when I installed the Power Chute deck blocker on my mower. A full suspension mower with an airseat is very, very plush as mowers go.

I like the Milsco V5400 seat. At some point I will do a video review.

Eric, looking forward to your review of your new mower and seat. Hope it is working well for you. We bought a Ferris IS700Z this year and as you know, does not have as good of suspension as your IS2100Z. It has a comfortable seat (would love to get suspension seat but budget does not allow it yet. I have fused L4L5 and understand some of your back issues). I would like to modify/add to my seat to be able to have the back tilted foward a bit. I am thinking of adding a foam wedge (thicker part of wedge at top) to support my upper back a bit more..

The stock seat is comfortable, but like yourself, I wanted to tilt the backrest forward.

Weather, tree planting, and leaving all my camera mounts in my tractor (which has been at a dealer) has delayed my making a video review of the V5400 seat.

Looking forward to an update too. Based on your initial review of the seat, I decided to get a mechanical suspension for my Grasshopper. The original Cordura seats have thick and firm cushions, and adding the suspension improved the ride a lot. It's basically what they used to sell as their premium suspension seat this way. They no longer offer it, only the Cordura seat with coil springs under the seat pan, or a Grammer air seat ($$$). To add this suspension I did buy the GH seat pan made for the Grammer seat, which sits lower. I'm good for now, but I'd like to hear the full review on this Milsco seat in case I want to go the air route rather than mechanical suspension.
