Any hummingbirds yet?

ArlyA - the UP is a really beautiful place. Have a friend in Ontonagon - visited there - in the summer. We get enough snow here - don't need to visit there in the winter.

He worked in the big underground mine there.

According to the migration map, they are still a ways south of us

I did not know they used a map, it must be a very small map. :rotfl:

AH - yes - geoduck. Very small software on very small smart phone = very small map - helps them find their way.

Not in our part of central NY...the HB feeder has been up a week. The BW says they return on Mothers Day.

Had the first one visit tonight about 7PM, had a quick drink and disappeared.

The swarms we had this past week must have moved on north...the feeders are still constantly busy with multiple birds but there are a lot fewer than we were seeing last week...

Am still seeing rose breasts both male and female...had thought they had moved on...buntings, finches and a few warblers this weekend...

We put our feeder out yesterday and had our first visitor today.

We've had a few for at least 2 weeks but these early ones are shy. And really small.

Had a ton of the yellow finches but they moved on.

East of Atlanta.
