Any ideas for mounting a mirror on F. E. L ??

There was an old post here on customization I believe, where one member used side mirrors from a jeep to make nice mirrors. I dont have time to look it up right now, but they also bolted on to the fel with some adapter plates.

Sorry for the hijack, but thought you might enjoy these tractor pictures. Each of them have a rear view mirror. They don't show up very well but are there.
They use vertical exhaust and almost always fasten the mirror to the exhaust. They use tractors for transportation as well as a work unit.

The first was taken while trying to convoy thru Kabul Afghanistan. The second was taken at Kwost Afganistan. The third was somewhere between Mosul and Tikrit Iraq taken from a Blackhawk.

I purchased a set of clamp on mirrors from Paynesforks.com. So far I use them for just normal driving and backing. I wanted them for when I use my 3pt snow blower. No significant snow yet so I do not know how they will work when there is a white out of blown snow. :laughing:

I had the very same thoughts, very creative and resourcful. Like the two magnet approach as it makes the mirror more stable. Very good reflections on all the posts!

Yep - Now thats thinkin. On my property mirrors really need to come off in alot of cases and this will work for me. Thanks AR-Dave
