I am really disapointed that no one offered to help me on this. Maybe it was a stupid question but the least you could do on this forum is give some comment as to what the problem might be. Ignnorance of the poster or something that is so simple that no one wants to bother with it makes me want to not return here.

I guess I got carryied away here but I had a previous post about replacing my fuel pump which recieved no replies either and when I went to this link "ask a John Deere Mechanic" the first reply was "How much $$$ for an answer are you willing to pay" Sorry but I have much better response to questions on the (New Holland) side for some of my other equipment.

You will get better responses to your questions if you are very clear on what the problem is, ie

Does anyone own this type of mower
vs
My mower has this problem( ), does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong?

You should post this in the lawn equipment forum. The folks here have real tractors not lawn tractors.

I have an LX266 but it's air cooled. If I can help I will. But I sense a bit of attitude, or perhaps, entitlement, as it seems you are offended no one came running to your seemingly self imposed problem. I do however hope all is well with your lawn mower.
