Does your BX24 have the LA240 series loader?

It has the same loader that Just2quickz28 (Matt) above shows with the ATI quick connect ...

I believe this is the loader

I can certainly make the loader work, but I have to modify it to do it. I would rather start from scratch and have exactly what I want and sell the loader so someone else could enjoy it. It is probably because I use it so much that I want to make it perfect .... rarely does the tractor start without me using the FEL for moving around trailers, loading, carrying etc.

Anyone know what this loader goes for new with the loader "mounts"? I have no idea what it is worth used ...

Thanks

Yup, that would be the LA240 series. What I notice about it is the distance between the lower and upper mounts is only 4". That certainly doesn't give you a lot of curl advantage but on the other hand you have a rather stout 3" curl cylinder which may make up for the lack of mechanical advantage.

The 3" cylinder does have a whole bunch of power, but because of the angles most of it is wasted and the mounting plates (in the middle) are oversized to put up with the strain. I stole this image of the BH from another thread. If the design had these same plates (with the yellow lines drawn on it), you could get more power with less stress. The only easy way I see how to do that is to go to two dump cylinders.

On the smaller loaders that have light weight buckets and attachments, Why bother with a quick attach.
You could just pin on and pin off to change.
The reason it is handy to have a quick attach is with larger attachments, a bucket weighing over 500 pounds is difficult to align pins to reattach.
The BX size attachments would be no problem to move around for a relatively quick pinning. With no loss in lift wasted on any adapter... KennyV

Sorry guys- I gotta side with kenny on this one. I really don't think its that hard to pin and repin attachments. I modified a truck plow to take my FEL arms and can swap between bucket and plow anytime I need to. Its only 10 mins, but I dont really need to swap all the time. I dont use the bolts anymore that locks pins in, but use the locking pins instead just fine.

Well in my opinion unless someone needs the loader for parts, I doubt there is much of a market for it since every bx24 comes with one.
