So what happens when you are in a hurry and don't set it up quite straight and your boys are playing on the blade as boys do and it falls over. I'm not saying it's going to happen but it's something to think about.
As long as the blade tilt function (if it has one) is engaged, it isn't going to tilt over. You would have to raise the weight of the blade to one side for it to tilt. Most kids don't weigh in nearly the weight of a blade or even a landscape rake. A single pole stand is very stable.

I was thinking more in terms of the stand being at an angle because it was dropped off in a hurry and with kids playing on it the blade or stand could slip and the three point hitch part falling to the ground. I know it's a long shot but I seen enough crazy things happen in my life that the thought of the stand being able to swivel makes me uneasy. When I was younger and had kids I wouldn't have worried about it. Now that I'm older it's a different story.
