As long as the blade tilt function (if it has one) is engaged, it isn't going to tilt over. You would have to raise the weight of the blade to one side for it to tilt. Most kids don't weigh in nearly the weight of a blade or even a landscape rake. A single pole stand is very stable.So what happens when you are in a hurry and don't set it up quite straight and your boys are playing on the blade as boys do and it falls over. I'm not saying it's going to happen but it's something to think about.
