Any other Allis Challmers owners out there?

I have a 1966 D-15 Series 2 that I use about everyday. Great tractor and good on fuel. Recently ran into a small problem. It was brushhogging with a 6' unit for about 5 hours in heavy tall grass. Last time I started it up it was missing on one cylinder. A check of the valve train indicated two slightly bent push rods. The valves must have carboned up and stuck. Ordered parts and hope to have her working next week.

I currently own a D14 Allis Chalmers. I have collected, restored, and later sold most of them. I have had 1 WC, 2 D10's, 1 D12, 1 D14, 1 D15, 3 D17's, 1 One-Sixty, 1 Two-Ten, and a 712 riding mower. I wil post a few pictures.

I'm surprised Allis Chalmers doesn't have its own section on this forum like other brands. I thought AC was a major manufacturer.

I've been looking for a smallish used farm tractor and came across this AC model 5020. Does this look like a decent tractor for $3K? And would it be hard to get parts for an AC?

I have a 1948 G that I recently purchased. It's a neat little tractor that I plan to use for cultivating.

From 1953 to 1996, we had a C, 2 WCs, a D14, D17, 170, 180, B-112 and a TL-10 Tractomotive loader with a WD-45 engine. The neighbor next door had a D17, D19, 190XT and a 6060. Hard to beat those engines.

I have a 160 w loader,low hour,runs great, also a B, and a wd45 narrow front-would like to find a r\h tie rd end for my 160, that seems to be a common issue...any ideas from some of you Allis Guys ?

Just curious if there are any other Allis Chalmers owners out there and if you still farm with your tractors or are more of a collector type.Me i still run a 7060 and a XT 190 and as well have a 5045 ( i guess you could still call it an AC..

I have a Tractomotive TL6. It is possibly the last fully operational one of the 475 built. It is still doing work in Northern Colorado.

Since this forum is nearly 2 years old, how many people still like and use their Allis Chalmers Tractors and equipment? I have a 1976 Allis Chalmers 5040 as pictured. The first with square fenders. Had a front flat tire just after this picture was takened. Of coarse the Romanian tire is 35 years old and original, great return on investment. My dad bought this tractor brand new and is still in the family today. He paid $5800 for it, and is still going strong.Working up some wheat land with it. Enjoy- Trac

i got a simplicity 9518 (same as allis chalmers 5015). can say much about it as it hasnt run in 15 years but from my experience, if the fuel injection pump ever goes out on your tractor, it is a job to find a functional replacement.

Just for informational purposes, this tractor uses the same injection pump that the Long 360 used, so parts are no problem. If nothing else, an inection pump station could rebuild being it is a CAV pump. The 5015 was a great little tractor. We sold quite a few when I worked for the Allis Chalmers- Deutz dealer here.
