I've got a Simplicity 9523 and my dad has the AC5020. Both the same tractor and both running strong. Mine with 580ish hours. His with 1400ish hours. But I have seen these running good with 4000+ hours. fwiw

Great tractors for us so far. Although I've used mine more than he has his. I use mine for the 5 ft MMM and a 5 foot snowblower. I also grafted on a 7 ft Meyers snowplow and used a 2500lb electric winch($$$ cheaper than hydraulic fwiw) for raising duties. It worked well this winter for me.

We had to rebuild his MMM deck cause it was noisy. Its done now and wow does it run smooth and quiet and cuts beautifully. These really do cut amazing fyi. Mine I am rebuilding the MMM mower now and hope to have it together in a day or so. They turn really tight and the power is good at 25HP to do my round the residence duties. fwiw

I think both were great investments. To tell you truth, my dad sat his *** down on mine after getting it home and drove it around mowing some lawn and had to have one himself after using a DR brand walk behind for years. The DR works good. Sure. This? Well, it takes no prisoners. LOL

I see some AC 5015's around. Also some AC5040's and whatnot but not so much around my parts as you would think.

Hi,
I bought AC 616. It needs some elbow grease and my dad is helping me get her going since i am only 13 years old.

Sounds like a good project. I have since sold my 9518, miss it a lot but I don't have the experience with Diesels nor does any of my family members. Although yesterday I was looking at some Allis Chalmers and Simplicity garden tractors. I want something to restore and since it is very likely that I will be doing it on my own I want something relatively easy to restore. Here is a 6116 I looked at yesterday. You would fit right in on the TBN Young gun Club, simple to enter, just write it in your signature.

Old post but was looking for a Allis Chalmer site and saw this had become active again.
Have had a Kubota for sale for 2 years until 2 weeks ago and one stopped to look and said would return. The same day another stopped with trailer and had a WD45 Gas tractor. paid the asking price and unloaded the WD45 loaded the Kubota. So now new owner.
This WD45 was /is oily covered with grass weeds and hard to see the condition of tractor.
High pressure spray got a lot off the engine and frame.
Said engine had been upgraded to 55hp. Where can infoirmation for what type of kit was put in.
Home made draw bar 3 point lift. the hydaulic control for this lift is on top of transmission and not being careful sitting would ruin a good day. Levers hand clutch and foot clutch that is sluggish releasing the foot clutch waits until foot off about 4 " and then slams you in the shin bone causing bruising.
Wide front end, tires decent took awhile to learn how to start pull rods for every function
O'k you now know about as much of this tractor as I do Is it worth putting money in looks like all shaft seals leak gaskets leak hoses squart oil .Or does anybody want a good project tractor.
Engine starts and runs good. if any problems don't know of. came straight from the hay field.

We have TL-10 Tractoloader. It's a front end loader with a WD45 engine. It currently has the reverse clutch frozen and we're doing a clutch overhaul on it, but when it worked it worked great.

Just add it to your signature along with your tractors, etc. It's in your home page. It just shows that you are one of the younger members on TBN and proud of it.

A WD45 was a great tractor in their day. Most power kits for the engine have been available for a long time so it would be impossible to know who's it was. People tried to convert them to 3 pt. hitch but, they were really ment for the two point snap coupler system with there own tools. The 3 pt, lift lever should be on the oppisite side of the thottle lever that straddled the steering wheel shaft. Using the hand lever for the mechanical clutch made the pto live. We told most people at the dealership to use the foot clutch more, because it was eaisier to replace when the time come. I can get specs if you want. Fix it up, paint it. Makes a great parade tractor . trac

Thanks for the encouragement for the tractor. I'm not a dealer but have sold 2 tractors this month from the place and received this WD45 included in the sale. Been reading the Yesterday tractors on A/C WD45 and all seem to like the machine.
Some one installed a control valve directly in fornt of the seat if not careful could sit on the control lever. hoses to rear function piping under the seat and across the foot area on right side. hoses all are seeping oil from age or loose connections.(It drips just sitting still)
Engine runs good ,starts quickly, so maybe will look into fixing it up again first going to remove all the homemade contraption type 3 point lift. All sheet metal is good shape would not rust for the oil spray it has received.
Have a IT shop manual so some good information on how to locate and adjust as needed.
Never saw a tractor with as many levers rods clutches and then very little foot room to work sitting on seat. Not complaining just telling of my impression of the tractor.
