I got lazy and nearly broke the rear fender right off on one side. I took a 4' lawn wheel (metal, no water) and set it across the lawn mower on the 3-point. It looked stable but slid to one side.
Good news. Very easy & cheap to repair. Stopped and got a fiberglass repair kit at the automotive store. Mixed it up and applied after cleaning up the area and had it ready to set in about 15 min. Let it cure all night and cut the next morning.
