Any Tricks to Make 3 Pt Attachment Easier?

We have a stabilizer bar on one side so now with Pat's system I align on that arm and with a stick my son aligns the free arm as I back up and after both sides CLICK we do the top link. I bought the spacer bar but it is never handy when swapping equipment and due to physical limitations I just make sure I have a helper in case something goes wrong.

With Pat's easy hitch no hands are involved when hitching or unhitching the lower arms which is a major peace of mind for me. I will unhitch by myself because after the top link is disconnected all one has to do is to release the locks and let down the lift.

We have a mismatch of old equipment and the extra 4" of arm length is awesome when connecting the PTO on the bush hog.

Only thing I do different is instead of 4x4's I put everything on pallets, still ez to move around, dont usually even need a pry bar, plus if you need to move the implement you can just pick it up with the forks, dont have to hook up to it.

Thats what I have been doing also, and since I don't have room to get them all out of the WX it keep s them out of the dirt too. Pallets are easy enough to come by if you keep your eyes open and ask for them. I have had a few over the years and never paid for a one, and never been turned down when I asked for one. I go for the cheaper ones that are one way shipping pallets though, not the reusable ones. Even the cheap one way pallets will last a couple years. I use them to stack firewood on too.

Let's see.........here's what I do.
At 145 lbs, 80 years old, decent health and live alone, I just muscle stuff around and get greasy and cuss a little. Yet, I tried a EZ Hitch and it doesn't fit some things and without a special spreader bar, isn't that much help. With a B2620 most things aren't that heavy especially if they are movable on some sort of a pallet or 2 x 4. Being retired, there isn't that much pressure to get things done in a hurry either. Quick Hitch attachment, hydraulic top links etc just aren't worth it to me. Even the Ballast Box is left empty and stored upside down, but light enough therefore to hook up and then add the ballast and tools needed for a job. Cheers, Mike

I agree with 94bullitt. I have a quick hitch and will never go back to messing around with a pry bar, risking a hernia.

YES, it was pricey for the special quick hitch pins for the LX4 but worth every bit of my back and something else.

I love my qh, you can be hooked up to a implement in seconds instead of minutes. Northern tool is the cheapest place I have found the bushings.

The Delta Hook is probably the easiest to use, but is also most likely the highest in cost.
