I fix cars and all of the old Toyota parts boxes have that logo on them.

Are you going to replace the belt, or having it done? It would be a real pity to replace an entire engine for a timing belt. If you can spin the engine, you should be able to do a compression check (leak down test is better) and see if you have anything bent and leaking.
You're looking at what, 4 hours and a $40.00 belt? You can probably find the procedure on the web if you know the class and size of the engine, because you're obviously going to have to retime it.
Diesel fan here, gimme a diesel over a gasser anytime, and yes, that is a 97 Dodge Cummins under my behind!

I appreciate the condolences. Amazing how I only put 1 hour of run time on that engine before it choked. I wish I could get that lucky in selling something so close to failure! :duh:
