I am in need of a small bale elevator about 16 to 20 feet long. Around my area they are selling for $500+ and I can't afford that. Does anyone know of plans or any advise on size of tubing etc that I would need to use.

Thanks,
Bob

I have the details on how to build one towed by a truck (for picking up bales in the field) from a US magazine dated February 1950. I am sure it could be altered and powered to be a stationary unit. Sorry no more details on source of info, but I would get it through a Google search under "Bale Loader" as that is what it is called in the article. In the absence of a better answer, or of finding it by searching, then post again and I will find it for you. Old McDonald.
