I've recently made the jump into the zero turn mower realm and wondering why I didn't do it earlier! I've been using a Toro GT2300 with a 54" deck, but recently bought what I hope will be my last mower - a top of the line Toro Z-Master 6000 series with a 60" deck and 25.5HP Kawasaki engine. This is a full on commercial mower built to operate 40+ hours per week, but based on my previous GT2300 usage I will only put on about 50-60 hours per year!

Since I plan to have this machine for a long, long time - I am interested in making it truly mine by adding some custom features such as LED lights, a horn, rear hitch, small tool carrier, and maybe a few others.

Request to this group is ...... SHOW ME YOUR MODS ON YOUR ZERO TURN! I'd love to see what you've done on your Zero Turn so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks All!

There is a forum for putting on a stripping kit
Thanks Farmboy - I've seen that post and have plans for a striping kit that comes from Toro directly.

Still looking for other mods to zero turn mowers if there are any out there!!! I just ordered by lights, switch for the lights, horn button, horn and voltagemeter gauge. Will I be the first on this forum to post on zero turn mods???

Put a canopy on it.

Mine is not a Zero Turn, but had ROPS. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...master-fans-here-post4110866.html#post4110866

Now that is one fine canopy and certainly something that I will add to my list of must do's for my new Toro Z Master 6000. Thanks for sharing!

I saw one where a frame was added to the rear of the ROPS and a sprayer mounted.

Regarding the canopy.
Go with a 44 x 44 Femco Tuff Top.
Rural King is the cheapest place you'll find to order them at $200. They are a drop ship (free)
I've got one on my Ferris and one on each of my two New Hollands.

Search Results for femco tuff top : Rural King

Where does your red dirt end and your tractor start? Is that a green tractor just dusty? :)
The red dirt never ends and sometimes I lose the red decks in the red dirt. :D

The dehydrated pond.

That's actually not a bad idea if you're doing a lot of spraying! I think for my purposes, I will more than likely put a hitch on the back and pick up a trailer mounted sprayer. But ...., I will probably put a nice custom 12v electrical hookup on the back to make it more convenient for running the pressure motor. Thanks for the thought!
