Nowadays, whenever I come back from travel, everything goes from the car straight into the washer. And the luggage and any appliances I took with me get sprayed. I got into the habit of doing that coming back from deployments. Also did that when we came back from Okinawa. I had them unbox everything outside the house and sprayed it before moving it inside. You wouldn't believe the places a cockroach can hide.
