Anyone ever seen a twin cylinder hit and miss?

Here are two shots of the 4 hp IHC Famous. The actual engine was made from 1906 to 1917. I don't know the exact scale but the actual engine would have been quite large and would have had to be stationary or large wagon (buck board/hay size) mounted.

If I get some more time I'll snap pics of another.

Regards,
Kevin

Khd,
Thanks for the pics, interested to see any other pics you care to post. I was just out in the garage running the twin. Hope to be running the L3830/JD4110 and doing some work when the weather breaks.
I have five different models from my neighbor.

1 - twin
2 - "Standard" horizontal
3- "rotor govenor" horizontal
4 - "walking beam"
5 - upside down ( runs on chain saw mix)

I could post a pic of each if you are interested.

I would like to see them. Taking the one off the shelf today made me get the itch again.

Here is a picture of the "upside down" one. Instead of relying on a traditional oiler, it runs on chain saw mix and has a grease fitting on the crank.

During the week I am far away from my tractors. What's a fella to but fire up an engine of some sort to scratch the "seat time itch"? I guess that doesn't sound right if you are not a regular TBN'er

The "twin" is breaking in nicely, I have played with govenor adjustments and have it running at a pretty sweet RPM. Pop-Pop.
Anyone have an idea of how to measure the HP/Torque this baby has?

Here is a little longer video ( don't bother if you are not broad band). Remember to keep those oilers full!

Here is a video of the "walking beam" one, this is a little shorter so is not that bad of a download
