Anyone get an MRI of their knee?

Had an mri on my knee it was just a bit of fluid but it would click and hurt...i had to stop running for a while.
I was out getting stone for my house and while holding onto a pile of stone jumped down off a 1' ledge, felt like the same injury.
I googled it and some utube vids came up.
It was an ITband injury...it band runs from hip to knee. I have been using a foam roller on it and i am back to normal. Hurts because it pulls the kneecap to one side, and it really hurts when you foam roll it, but it really did help.

Stretching the IT band with one of those rollers hurts even on healthy legs!

Have them burn a CD of your MRI for you. It will cost about $10, and you can take it home and look at your innards on your computer.

So, I have missed 2 days of work.

All last week I forced myself to go in and do what I could, but just cannot walk long periods this week.

My Dr issued a "time off from work" slip for me today the 22nd (after I had to call and call and tell them I could not work)

He put the dates I need to be off work from last Friday the 17th to the 31st

I worked Saturday 12-18-10 and Monday 12-20-10.

I submitted the note to my boss who hmmed and hawed about me getting paid for the time off.

I get home and the boss calls and says they will not pay me for the time off because I was able to work last week for 1 day that was under the time set by the Dr and I worked Monday.

They said if I was able to go to work then I was able to go to work now.

I told them that I will run that by my attorney and he will be in contact

A-holes!!!!

Nice boss.
Why did the doc backdate the slip? If he had put the 22nd start you would've been Ok?

I guess I am not sure exactly why he back dated it.

I will have to try and get thru to him again.
